TV Success for Local Actress
Young Vicky Cartledge, who lives in Los Montesinos, is being propelled to stardom in more than one language. Vicky, who is an actress playing multiple roles in the feature Film “The Cucaracha Club”, has shown so much versatility that she has landed a part in a new Spanish Police Drama being shot in the region playing a BBC reporter. In Aspe a while ago, she and 4 other Cucaracha Club Actors linked up with some of the cast of the new drama, on the set of another Spanish-made production about a woman who has a Compulsive Cleaning disorder.
Not content with being on film and television, this pint-sized little power mite, will be treading the boards on stage in April in the ADHOC Players next production, the much anticipated “Sex and the Short working Week”. A Comedy set in the time of UK Miners Strike. Vicky will play a ‘Lady of the night’.
Writers Philip Stephen Routledge & Billie Anthony’Gaddess, who wrote the script for the Feature Film she is currently involved in making, are so impressed with Victoria that she will be an integral part of the next plot. In the second outing for the Cucaracha Club, the details of which are secret at this time, the production process is already moving at a pace, with music and locations being organised.
