AECC donation from Marathon Runner
Casa Mia Bar-Restaurant in El Chapparal has again raised money for AECC in Torrevieja. The Weigh-In group that meets at the bar has raised a considerable amount for the charity but now Mark Daughtry, the owner of the bar, has raised an equally valuable €375 by running in the recent Torrevieja Half-Marathon.Sponsorship money was shared with the S.A.T animal rescue charity, with AECC’s share being handed to AECC Hospital Volunteer Ann Bissett. A large bag of uncounted coins was also handed over at the same time, but the amount of that is unknown at the present time. Thanks go to Mark, his generous sponsors and the anonymous donor of the coins.
