BIKE FOR LIFE DONATION HELPS LOCAL CHARITIES
Local residents joined cyclists and charity volunteers in Torre de la Horadada recently to see Karen Dixon from Bar UK hand over donations to both AECC and HELP Vega Baja.
Cheques for €1,600 were given to each charity following the very successful Bike for Life event which took place on the 4th April and saw some 65 sponsored cyclists complete the 10k cycle ride around the area. The photo shows Pauline Yates, Volunteer, accepting the cheque on behalf of HELP Vega Baja. Pauline thanked everyone for their support and said the donation will be used to continue the work the charity does in providing help for people in the Vega Baja area
