Agua Amarga (“bitter water”) is a little white-washed fishing village o­n the edge of Cabo de Gata nature reserve. It sits in a quiet and sheltered bay almost hidden o­n the coast between two cliffs. Agua Amarga is fringed by a magnificent fine, sandy beach that stretches for 800m in front of the transparent turquoise waters of the bay.
