MOJÁCAR INSTALLS SECOND OUTDOOR BIOGYM
Following the success of the first Biogym at the Montemar centre, Mojácar Town Hall is going to install a second park on the seafront at Las Ventanicas near the Hotel Indalo.
The park will be located by the promenade, which is already used by many locals and tourists, in order to promote and encourage extra physical activity. It will be made up of twelve different types of fitness equipment, which help to maintain fitness and prevent or treat specific ailments or injuries. It is designed for the physical exercise by over 40’s and is especially recommended for people over sixty because it allows them to improve mobility, increase flexibility whilst toning the whole body. In this special park you can find equipment for many types of exercises including warming up, coordination of movements, exercise and relaxation.
The council has made a total investment of 16,000 Euros providing this important amenity. The councillor for tourism, Emmanuel Aguero, expressed his satisfaction saying “it gives the beach area of Mojácar an extra dimension in a popular area of great activity, that is sure to be of benefit to residents and visitors alike”
