HORSE & FLAMENCO SHOW, SEPTEMBER 19

Each year, hundreds of Euros have been raised for local charities through the Horse and Flamenco Shows, but this September, Casa La Pedrera, The Grand Design House and the Star of the Show, Equestrian Performer, Emma Tytherleigh, have decided to support a local animal charity, Easy Care Horse Care Rescue Centre & Foundation.

In both instances, the performing horses, Romero, Rocky and Aero are rescue cases, enjoying a new lease of life, performing in front of a very appreciate audience. In Romero’s case he was uncontrollable, being passed through countless owners and almost landed up in an abattoir before Emma was given him.   To witness the love and respect between horse and owner is simply beautiful and have moved people to tears on many occasions. Aero equally was very badly treated and would need to be fully tranquilised before shoeing, as well as being virtually unrideable. Now it is equally amazing to see 12year old Linzi Ray performing her vaulting tricks on his back.   Some of the stunts are incredibly dangerous and require the utmost dedication and trust between Horse and rider – A simply must see show!   Representing the Spanish contingent is Antonio with his gorgeous mare, Miss Wilson and of course the fabulous Flamenco Dancers.   Food and refreshments will be available.
