Snow arrived at almost sea level this morning in many towns along the Costa Blanca. Our picture shows snow falling in the Playa Flamenca area of Orihuela Costa during the early hours today.
Meanwhile sections of AP7 toll road are closed, with motorists being warned that several sections of the AP7 motorway are closed due to snow (Alicante to Valencia).
