Shark washed up

A FATHER and daughter, who were walking their dog, discovered the remains of a large shark washed up near Calpe rock last week. The shark had been caught up in fishing nets, which had probably caused its death. Luckily, no scenes from Jaws will be recreated, as this was a basking shark, which only feed on small fish and plankton.
