THE ONLY thing more beautiful than walking along the promenade at Mojácar Playa under the light of a full moon, is doing so while raising money to support MACS.
On 8 July you will have the opportunity to do both.
The Mojácar Area Cancer Support charity (MACS) is our local cancer charity and is a volunteer run organization that provides physical and emotional support for cancer patients and their loved ones.
MACS is sponsoring both a 5 kilometre and 10 kilometre walk to raise money to support its activities.
The 10k starts at Titos Chiringito at 21:00. The 5k starts at Big Fat Momas at 21:45. Both walks finish at Titos where there will be music and food available. To book a table call 950 615 030.
The colour for MACS is purple. Fancy dress and silly outfits are optional. Each walker is asked to obtain sponsors for his or her walk and to pay a two euro entrance fee on site.
