The operation was undertaken simultaneously at the ports of Algeciras, Alicante, Almeria, Barcelona, Malaga, Motril, Tarifa and Valencia.

The Guardia Civil, specialists of the Austrian Police, French National Gendarmerie, Republican National Guard of Portugal and the consortium GIE-Argos worked together with the aim of preventing the cars from reaching North Africa.
