A BODY has been found in the port of Almeria, according to health and police services.
112 Andalucia confirmed that a corpse was discovered on Friday at around 8 pm after Maritime Rescue reported the finding to them.
A body was subsequently recovered on ramp six of the Almeria Port. 112 were notified and began coordinating the responses of the Guardia Civil, Local Police and National Police.
According to the Guardia Civil, no further information is available as they investigate the situation.
Police are appealing for any information and encourage them to come forward.
