THE seventh edition of the Ruta de la Tapa Huercal-Overa, promoted by the Department of Commerce of the City, will be held from November 3 to 12.
This year a total of 24 establishments will participate, where you can taste 42 different tapas, including innovative and traditional delicacies.
The Mayor, Domingo Fernandez stressed that “once again we are betting on the Ruta de la Tapa, which is already a benchmark in our calendar and a big success.”
Participants in the route also have the opportunity to win two €60 prizes to consume in the winning establishments of the best tapas. Entries are submitted by photographing themselves in the Ruta de la Tapa with their friends and sending them to huercaloveraturismo@gmail.com.
The photographs will be published on the Facebook page of Turismo Cultura Huercal-Overa, and the two most popular will be the winners. The voting period will be from November 13 to 18.
The Mayor invites everyone in Huercal-Overa and visitors to “enjoy our route of the tapa, let yourself be delighted with the great flavours of our land and do it in the company of friends, companions and family. During these days the municipality becomes a coming and going of groups that roam the streets, visiting the participating establishments.”
The last edition of the Ruta de la Tapa ended with more than 50,000 tapas served, a figure that accounts for the great success of this initiative.
