ALMERIA museum has hosted a roundtable meeting between municipality leaders, representatives of the tourism sector and the territorial delegate for Culture, Tourism and Sport, Alfredo Valdivia.
The theme, ‘Andalucía, your roots,’ is to increase tourism in the province by emphasising Almeria’s historical, cultural and ancestral ties to the rest of the world.
The meeting included representatives from major tourism operators in Spain and culture councillors from across the province.
Mr Valdivia said that “Andalucía, your roots is a distinct business opportunity which must unite municipalities, associations, large companies, SMEs and rural development groups across the province.”
