ARBOLEAS based charity FACE (Fundraising in Arboleas, Caring for Everyone) recently hosted a Christmas Market and managed to raise over €2,700.

The market took place on December 1 in an especially erected marquee situated in the centre of Arboleas, outside the town hall.

The market was officially opened by Arboleas councillor Mark ‘Danny’ Daniels accompanied by FACE President Carrie Green.

Entertainment was provided throughout the evening by 89.8 Smooth FM Radio presenters alongside station owners Bev and Neil Holmes, while a theatrical Line Dance was also performed by ‘Carrie’s Dusty Boots.’

Throughout the evening various ‘Christmas presents’ were given, in the form of a cheque, to different charities and organisations.
