GUARDIA CIVIL officers arrested two people and seized more than 2,000 marihuana plants in El Ejido.
Police and energy provider Endesa collaborated to investigate areas using abnormal amounts of electricity, leading authorities to seize 855 plants in operation “Cuco” and 1,274 plants in operation “Manolica”.
A third person was later arrested and 65 illegal power hook-ups were also shut down in the El Ejido area.
