The Almanzora Valley area and Velez are expected to see the storms this evening, with no other warnings having been issued for the province. Yellow weather alerts have also been issued for parts of the Jaen and Granada Provinces.
Yellow weather alerts mean there is a risk of storms but that risk is not considered severe or dangerous.
The warnings come as Andalucia recently saw a heat wave with temperatures of 45.6 degrees recorded in Montoro, Cordoba Province and 46.4 in El Granado in Huelva Province.
