Four people including two children injured in multiple vehicle collision

FOUR people, including two children, were taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars and a van in Roquetas del Mar left them injured.

Andalucia’s 112 emergency services line said they received several calls from passing drivers at around 8.30pm yesterday (Thursday) alerting them to the accident which happened on the A-7.

The collision involved two cars and a van and took place at kilometre 431 on the motorway, emergency services added.

Guardia Civil traffic personnel and Local Police officers were despatched to the scene along with medical staff.

Paramedics took an 80-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman to Torrecardenas Hospital in Almeria City. Two children, aged 11 and eight, were taken to Poniente Hospital.
