THE star of the sequel to the reboot of the superhero classic Wonder Woman has taken time out of her shooting schedule to see the sights of Almeria City.
Gal Gadot is back in front of the camera to reprise her role as Wonder Woman. The latest instalment of the franchise is titled Wonder Woman 1984.
She features alongside a host of Hollywood actors including Pedro Pascal of Narcos and Game of Thrones fame and Chris Pine, who stars in the latest Star Trek franchise.
The Wonder Woman 1984 crew began shooting the second instalment of the series at locations across Almeria City including La Alcazaba.
Gadot took to social media on Tuesday to give fans a glimpse of what she has been up to while not donning the Wonder Woman’s signature knee high boots.
The actor posted a selfie standing in front of Almeria City Cathedral which led local @avimargr to comment: “It’s Cathedral of Almería (Spain). I was there two days to see you”.
The film is set to take place in the 1980’s with Wonder Woman taking on her new rival, The Cheetah.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to see the superhero take part in the Western World’s face off with the Soviet Union as the Cold War reaches its climax.
The cast and crew are set to move on to the Canary Islands of Tenerife and Fuerteventura, once shooting in Almeria wraps up.
