The Latvian State Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre said on Monday, October 31 that the warm of the past few days will continue into the week.
With the warmer weather will come a scattering of showers although there will be little wind. The temperatures that saw temperatures rise into double figures over the weekend will gradually ease and by Friday they will have dropped back into single figures.
The colder weather will bring cloudy weather, however, the weekdays should remain relatively dry with some precipitation overnight. Residents can also expect fog in many areas with nightime temperatures sitting between five and nine degrees.
Maximum highs for the week could reach around 13 degrees.
The rains could return on Wednesday night but will clear quickly with the exception being the eastern parts of the country. They will, however, return on the weekend.
The warm weather that will kick off Latvia’s start to November should be experienced elsewhere in the Baltics, with most of Europe enjoying warmer weather than usual for this time of year.
