A shooting incident in the Mitt region city of Gävle has resulted in a man being hospitalised.

According to the police in the Mitt region, one person has been taken by ambulance to hospital after a shooting incident that occurred in the Gävleborg County city of Gävle late on Saturday, November 5.

Several police patrols were deployed to the Sätra district at around 8.30 pm on Saturday evening after reports of loud explosions. An injured man was subsequently found outside a building and immediately rushed to a hospital.
