Charity Worker Wins Cruise

Annette English, who with her husband, David, is the official fund-raiser for The Children’s Care Home in Elche,  was the lucky winner of a Mediterranean cruise at the latest Charity Night at El Alto La Dolores Restaurant in Guardamar.  Annette and Dave work tirelessly in a number of roles to support the children in the home.  They attend almost all the fund-raisers arranged for their charity, but on this occasion, they had the night off, as the event was in aid of Torrevieja Stroke Support.  They truly deserve their prize – made more special by the fact that it was Dave’s birthday.

Torrevieja Stroke Support also benefited from the night, which raised 804 euros, which will go a long way in helping them support stroke victims.

On Wednesday, 1st July, WOODY will again be entertaining diners at this Restaurant, and helping to raise funds for The Alzheimers Association (AFA).  Woody is one of the most talented and popular entertainers on the Costa Blanca, and tickets to see him sell out very quickly.  At just 10 euros, including a 2 course meal, this offers excellent value.  Tickets can be purchased from El Alto La Dolores; The Post Room Benijofar or The Card Place in Benimar.  Restaurant owner, Andres, has donated another Mediterranean cruise as 1st prize in the raffle.  So don’t miss the boat!
