THE 2018 Villaricos Wacky Races charity event was a ‘wheel’ success.
A carnival atmosphere was the order of the day, as the entrants rolled out their home-made vehicles for the laugh-a-minute races. Childrens’ clubs and schools provided entertainment with flamenco dancing and gymnastics displays, while the tombola and raffle were well-supported.
Last year’s event raised €1,400 which was donated to local schools, with the 2018 total still to be announced.
