BUDGET airline Jet2 has announced a raft of new flights connecting the UK with Almeria.
The low cost carrier says the routes will bring an additional 55,000 British holidaymakers to the province before the end of the year.
Sunseekers will from this weekend be able to fly direct from Belfast, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle. And the 10 new weekly flights are set to make life easier for thousands of expatriates who live in the area.
Provincial president Gabriel Amat spoke of his joy at the news, which forms part of a scheme to being 110,000 additional tourists to the province in 2018.
