Multiple strikes across Ukraine also including the capital Kiev, as President Zelenskyy urges people to stay safe and seek shelter as more are expected 

Russia bombarded Ukraine with its biggest missile attack yet on Tuesday, November 15. The targets of these strikes were the country’s energy facilities, which cause widespread blackouts across the country. According to a report from the Associated Press (AP), confirmation about the missiles landing in Poland has now been provided by a senior U.S. intelligence official.  

The AP report states that a second confirmation was further provided by a source that said that the missiles struck a site about 15 miles from the Ukrainian border in Polish territory.  

Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy has announced that more strikes will happen in the days to come and asked people to stay safe and seek shelter. “We will survive everything.”, he said, according to the report. “We’re working, will restore everything,” the president added.  

The Polish government´s spokesperson Piotr Mueller said that the top leaders were holding an emergency meeting to discuss this crisis situation, the report states. Meanwhile, the Polish media has reported that two people died on Tuesday, November 15, after projectile struck them.  

According to a senior Ukrainian official, “Most of the hits were recorded in the center and in the north of the country. In the capital, the situation is very difficult,” Kyrylo Tymoshenko said, the report states. The official also confirmed that a total of 15 energy targets were damaged, adding that over 70 missiles were shot down, the report adds.
