Man sentenced for 21 years over shooting Lady Gaga’s dog walker

Lady Gaga´s dog walker Ryan Fisher was attack on LA´s Sunset Boulevard and two French bulldogs were stolen 

A man accused of shooting Lady Gaga´s dog walker and then stealing her two French bulldogs, was sentenced to 21 years in prison on Monday, December 5.

According to a report in the Associated Press, the dog walker named Ryan Fischer was shot by James Howard Jackson, one of three men who participated in the attack and robbery.   

The report then states, Jackson along with his accomplices, drove around the city of West Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley on Feb. 24, 2021, looking for French bulldogs. Upon discovering the dog walker with the three dogs on the famous Sunset Boulevard, Jackson shot Fisher and took two of the dogs.  

The main motive behind the attack, the report said, was the value of the breed, which sells for thousands of dollars. Detectives after the investigations also revealed that the attackers were unaware about the actual owner of the dogs.  

The report also said, after the attack, Lady Gaga had issued a statement offering a reward of $500,000. The dog’s named Koji and Gustav, were then returned after several days by Jennifer McBride, who was also charged with the crime.
