People´s magazine has just announced their 2022 list for the “People of the Year”. According to a report in the Associated Press, the announcement made on Wednesday, November 30, included Matthew McConaughey, Mila Kunis, Jennifer Hudson and Quinta Brunson as this years honorees.
The magazine stated in the report that people selected for the 2022 list have been chosen on the basis of their efforts to help others.
The report said, Actor Matthew McConaughey has been chosen for his advocacy efforts after the Uvalde school shooting in his hometown, the report said.
Meanwhile, Mila Kunis has been chosen for her work on raising funds for Ukraine. The report states Kunis raised more than $37 million for the country where she was born.
The other two honorees Hudson and Brunson were selected for their work on screen.
Each of the personalities will be featured on a special cover that highlights their work, the report said.
The list of people who have previously been featured as People´s honorees includes George Clooney, Regina King, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Sandra Oh, Selena Gomez and Simone Biles.
