Sanna Marin commented on Ukraine war during an interview at World Economic Forum in Davos, stating Finland will support its fight against Russia
Finish prime minister Sanna Marin has announced that Finland will support Ukraine in its war against Russian invasion and asked global leaders to ensure Ukrainians wins this fight.
Marin made this statement during an interview at the World Economic forum in Davos, Switzerland.
“We don’t know when the war will end, but we have to make sure that the Ukrainians will win”, the Finish PM said, as per a report by Yle on Wednesday, January 18.
“I don’t think there’s any other choice. If Russia would win the war, then we would only see decades of this kind of behaviour ahead of us”
Marin said that its is unclear as to when this war will end, “but we have to make sure that the Ukrainians will win”.
She also said that if Russia was to win this war, it would set an example to the worlds that another country can be invaded and taken control of, adding that other countries were watching very closely at the situation.
