US actor Jeremy Renner famous for playing the Marvel character Hawkeye injured after snow plowing accident
Marvel actor Jeremy Renner has been seriously injured after an accident while ploughing snow at his ranch in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
According to a report in Euronews on Monday, January 2, his condition is said to be critical but stable.
After the incident took place, the actor was immediately airlifted to a hospital. The report said, as per the local sheriff´s office, no other person was reported injured.
The actor has so far required two surgeries as his injuries are said to be extensive.
The region where the accident took place was hit by the winter blizzard that left over 35,000 homes without electricity.
The two-time Oscar nominee is a key character in the Marvel´s Avenger as well as Captail America Films, where he played as Clint Barton, the Hawkeye.
He has also starred in several other films including two Mission Impossible films, The Borne Legacy, American Hustle as well as Arrival.
