Fantastic afternoon for Fashion & Fundraising.
Sunday 12th April saw The Gladrags Spring/Summer Fashion Show take place at The Rosaleda Bar & Restaurant in Los LLanos, Arboleas.
After a very wet start to the morning, the clouds cleared and the sun came out in time to make sure the ladies waiting with tickets at the ready were kept dry and raring to go for what proved to be an amazing afternoons entertainment.
More than 130 ladies packed the room of the Rosaleda and awaited the appearance on the catwalk of the Glamorous Models that came in all shapes & sizes, wearing Beautiful Clothes in a mix of fabrics that are ideal for the coming warmer months & adding a burst of colour to your current wardrobe.
The audience also played a key part in the afternoon as they had more energy & enthusiasm than a 3 year old after a bag full of E numbers!! This in turn, put all the models at ease and added to the electric atmosphere.
As important as the Fashion Show was Launching The Spring/Summer Collection it was only part of the reason for Jenni at Gladrags organising this as she also wanted to raise much needed funds for The Walk For Life, a local charity that helps people & their Families who are effected by Cancer.
Jenni will be donating all the money from the ticket sales to The Walk For Life. A raffle was also held on the day & cakes and chocolate dipped strawberries sold for a small donation.
Jenni is pleased to announce that the total amount raised from the day (including ticket sales) is 885.77€
