MACS Fundraiser – Party In Pink
Saturday 18th April saw the Kimrick host the annual Party in Pink!
The event, sponsored by Ibex Insurance, was organised by Fitness by Alison and involved a fun and somewhat, at times, energetic workout, with a host of “celebrity” fitness instructors, including Bananarama, the Jane Fondas, Toni Basil, Uma Thurman and John Travolta, Olivia Newton John and the Pink Ladies, Wham!, Kim Wilde and Dave from Money Supermarket.
A MASSIVE amount of money raised for Macs Cancer Support Group, the total (to be officially confirmed next week with the receipt) now stands at 1460€….How fabulous!
To EVERYONE who played a part, a big massive THANK YOU! to you all for all your hard work and time for this very worthy cause, including;
Maria Hughes ,Tommy, Elaine and the staff at The Kimrick, who did a sterling job of making sure everyone was kept hydrated, and for providing the venue, letting us rearrange your premises, rehearse and make a mess.
