The COPO Commercial Park cinema has reopened in El Ejido after a significant refurbishment.
The cinema has been closed since September 2016 in a move to renovate the commercial centre and modernise the cinema.
There was an indefinite question mark over when the complex would reopen.
The project has now completed in a bid to improve space, the quality of chairs and the cinema now has seven screens with the latest sound systems.
The chain has also confirmed that, given the large expatriate numbers in El Ejido and Almeria, that they will introduce films in English in the future.
They have yet to confirm dates, although this option is available in other cinemas belonging to the chain.
