A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in Almeria after allegedly taking more than €40,000 in a car scam.
Guardia Civil officers received a complaint from the victim of the alleged scam earlier this month, in which they claimed that they had delivered €40,000 to the manager of a sales company for a high-end vehicle which they never received.
Despite numerous calls and messages the man would reportedly not pick up his phone and allegedly had no intention of returning the money to the victim
After Police were able to verify the complaint, the alleged fraudster, from the Velez-Rubio neighbourhood, was eventually located and arrested.
